What do I do if I need an ambulance?
In case of medical emergency, call 911. This page is not monitored for emergencies. The 911 center will determine the nature and location of the emergency and dispatch the appropriate responders. Please stay on the line and answer the call taker’s questions to assure that we are able to find you quickly and provide the best possible care.
How can I prepare for an emergency?
Planning in advance saves time in an emergency. Make sure that every member of your household knows how and when to call 911 for help. Please be sure that your street address is clearly marked with reflective numbers at least 3” in height, located on a mailbox or post that is visible from the street.
For each household member, prepare an up-to-date list of medical history, medications, insurance, and contact information that can be given to EMS providers. We recommend keeping this information on your refrigerator door for quick access.
Take advantage of available resources for fire, household, and driving safety, as well as disaster preparedness.
